Dear 0xacab.org owners,

I'm maintaining https://0xacab.org/dCF/deCloudflare and got surprised that my account, "nobody", is banned.
Here is the error message I got when I tried to log in:
"Your account has been blocked. Please contact your GitLab administrator if you think this is an error."

So I want to ask, why did you ban my account? All I did was pushing my git changes normally?

Can anyone please explain clearly what just happened?

Some additional facts:
1. I was just maintaining dCF (aka cloudflare-tor)'s 3 public repositories, but pushing local changes I made to public.
2. I am sure that I did not do anything malicious like creating tons of issues and so on.

In what reason did you ban my account? Have you ever read dCF itself, because this is about the censorship and netneutrality problem & I thought riseup(0xacab) is against censorship?

Not an OP, just wanted to add a comment;

According to your website, Riseup is for people who works on liberatory social change.
You also advocate “create democratic alternatives” and “secure means of communications”.

The deCloudflare project - https://0xacab.org/dCF/deCloudflare - is a collaborative public repository that attempts to solve the mass privacy and security problem caused by CloudFlare
by educating people with a number of facts and tools to help them take action for themselves.

We focus on increasing people's privacy and also taking back their online privacy, providing alternative options without going through the global MITM infrastructure.
This activism could, and clearly would, impact social change by making it easier to access information and communicate online without being subject to Cloudflare's monitoring/surveillance.

I'm just amazed that you, Riseup, stabbed us in the back without initiating a public debate on the public issue board.

Same message, right after Signin webpage.

> I thought riseup(0xacab) is against censorship?

Wondering same thing. I thought 0xacab has better ethics than codeberg but seems like I was wrong. At least codeberg wrote a long invalid blog to claim their 'reason', which riseup (or 0xacab.org) did not claim at this point.

So much this.
