I want to set up a simple email filter on webmail. The filter should move emails with specific words within the subject to a folder.
The thing is, the filter does not move a single email. I tried also to add a . to the folder name, as the how to at https://riseup.net/en/email/settings/email-filters says, to no avail.
What is the trick to get a working email filter rule?

It is not a subfolder, so the "." is not necessary. I created the subfolder months before trying to set the filter.
Any suggestions?

Problem solved!
Filter does not work with condition "Starts with", although the subject starts with the a specified text.
Instead I tried the filter condition "Contains" and it works.
So, this case can be closed.
