This morning I tried to connect to my email account and when I logged in through Thunderbird it indicated that it failed. Furthermore, when I go to my actual mailbox online (browser) it is empty which is odd.
Did you guys have some hack or something go wrong? I also noticed that the certificate for the status website is broken.
As an update I can now access my email account but all the emails that were there from yesterday are gone. This seems really odd.. I don't believe that my account was hacked although i wonder if you could verify if it was and/or if there was some server issue
Hi,
This morning we had a problem with one of our servers, which caused the failures you saw. It was refusing connections for a short period of time.
It turns out that thunderbird is not particularly good at dealing with these kind of intermittent failures. Can you quit thunderbird, and then restart it and see if that resolves your problem?

Yeah I am able to log in just fine now, but I lost the emails that were in my account?
That is odd, is your thunderbird configured to download your mail and delete it from the server?
Also - I suggest you change your password, there has been some heavy attempts to compromise accounts and this is one of the patterns (removed contacts, or mail).

Yeah I already changed the password and no it's not setup to delete from the server. Is there any way on your end to see if something got corrupted on my account?
Hey,
I did look around for any issues with your account, but I could not find anything out of the ordinary :(
It is not typical that mails would be 'lost' like that.
