Long ago I created a riseup account that I've not used for a long time and have long since lost the password for. I'm wondering, Does riseup automatically deletes long-unused accounts? If so, what's the time scale? I have no personal issue here, just thinking that deleting all accounts might reduce the load on the servers.

Yes, deleting an account it means we don't have to do spam filtering for that account and it saves space on our disks. We run an ecology process that clean accounts that are not used in a period of time. I believe it's 6 months without use.
