Importing\ retaining contacts

Andrew Baskin wrote...
When I begin typing the email address of someone I write to often, I want auto complete to offer suggestions based on the contacts in my contact list. But I don't have a contact list. It seems like riseup does not automatically remember who I've written to in the past. I need to copy and paste or use pen and paper to copy email addresses. No big deal but is there a way to create a contact list within riseup? Is it possible to enable riseup to record all the email adresses I've ever written to so auto complete can help fill in the blanks? Thanks. Andrew

Yeah you have to actually add to your contact list. Next to the email there's an icon that looks like a sillouette of a person with a plus sign next to it. You can add them to your list.

You can also access the contact list by clicking on "Contacts" at the top right corner, right between "Mail" and "Settings." There's an import option in there if you wanted to create a vCard or CSV list of contacts, but that might be more difficult than just entering them in one at a time.

There is no way to automatically add emails that you send to, though.

Let me know if that solves your problem.

I'm going to assume that this resolves your issue, but if that's not the case, please let me know. Thank you!
