How to install Bitmask on Ubuntu 16.04? Do not find a working solution...

Momo Darsen wrote...
hello together, i tried to install bitmask. (https://bitmask.net/en/install/linux) But it seems to give no solution for Ubuntu 16.04? (I already fail with the package leap-archive-keyring, which only exists for Zesty).
Does anyone have a similar problem or / and a solution?

The old riseup VPN does not work unfortunately. I get a positive optical message - the lock at the network manager -> but a connection to the Internet is not produced.
Any suggestions?

Hello,

In order to install bitmask on Ubuntu 16.04 you will need to use the "stand-alone bundle" method. If you go to https://bitmask.net/en/install/linux and click the blue button that says "Download", it should work.

Ubuntu 16.04 is not supported via the package method, you will either need to upgrade to a newer Ubuntu, or use the stand-alone bundle.
