Sent a handful of close friends invite codes - some of them worked, others did not.

Hello,
I sent invite codes to some friends so we could all have a private conversation. Some worked, but at least one did not. Their first email was eatplants@riseup.net. After that acct failed to bring-up the webmail client, I deleted the accounted and started over with a new invite code. The second account that I just created was eat_plants@riseup.net. This account allows me to access account settings, but not email.

My question is, is there a waiting period for new accounts to log on? did I spend too many invite codes too fast, triggering some kind of throttling? or, well, is there anything I can do to get my dear friend's eat_plants@riseup.net email to work?

I would've submitted this ticket from the eat_plants account, but I've no way of getting loggin in. It always just says invalid user name or password or something, with a red exclamation point.

I've tried using the backup codes, switching passwords, and inviting from scratch.

Please advise.

There was a problem with new accounts where the email accounts weren't activated when the main account was. That was likely what affected your friends. That said, you should be all fixed if your friends simply try to use webmail again. At least for the non-deleted accounts. If you need anything else, please let us know.
