I get a 'tls key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds' and I have no idea why this is happening. I used the same config as the one on the riseup site with no changes. I am on a windows 10 computer.

I also get a UDPv4 link local: not bound error. Have no idea how to fix.
Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Hi,
This happened because someone was abusing the VPN service, causing significant problems for everyone who was trying to connect.
For your information, this is not the riseup vpn beta, this machine you are connecting to is the red vpn. If you wish to use the riseupvpn (there is a build for windows), please visit https://riseup.net/vpn/betatest to download the windows client. This vpn will use a different gateway than the one you were using, which will be better suited for this problem, and more resilient.

Same here, problem started yesterday.
Hi,
Please try again, someone was attacking the gateway in the last day and we had to block it so it did not cause other problems.

Hi and thank you, now its working!
It’s not working again now. Same error.
Is it working ok now?
Hi,
This ticket happened around the time we were having a DDoS that was likely causing the problem. But also I recently discovered something that was preventing newer clients from connecting and fixed it. So if you are still having problems please try it again and let us know if you still have problems.
Thanks
