I noticed that a recent email newsletter was sent, as usual, in various different languages, including Spanish. Unfortunately the updates that were made in English to the following page have not have been translated into Spanish:
https://riseup.net/email#what-is-special-about-riseupnet-email
If the other translator (who translated the email) is not available I would like to offer myself as a backup translator. How do I do that?
Hello!
We do indeed need help finishing the spanish translation of this! We often have many spanish translators available, but recently not. It would be really, really great to have your help!!
This page you reference is actually a longer version of the "Welcome email" that we want to send to users when they first open an account. It is something that desperately needs spanish translation, if you can help with that it would be super appreciated (afterwards, getting that page translated will be easy, because it is mostly the same).
I'm going to add you to our translators mailing list where we send calls for translation. If you can go to https://we.riseup.net and create an account (if you don't already have one), and then send me your login name there, I will also add you to the translators group there where the translations for this stuff happen.
