i realize riseup is normally installed as a snap. and i have read this thread: https://support.riseup.net/en/topics/11917-riseupvpn-for-linux-not-possible-for-systemd-free-os/posts.
but i see on your install page that you offer a manual package install option. i managed to do this a while back (ie it is or at least was possible to install riseup-vpn snapless, and i did it on a systemd-free mx linux), however on buster now following your instructions doesn't work, as the package 'riseup-vpn' is not in the repo you tell users to add. i wonder if it is ok to install the version from 'master' instead of 'release'? or if it works to install 'bitmask-vpn' from release instead of 'riseup-vpn'. or are the instructions old, and people should wait for the repo to be updated?
also thx for the ace package! i donated to you guys recently.
you could use the 'staging' codename.
however, it should be in the release one, so we need to investigate what happened.
