I haven't used aliases before, but I have two questions about them.
1. Do we see what alias an email came to in our inbox? So, I can see if one alias was compromised.
2. Is it possible to remove aliases? So, if an alias does get compromised, I can just remove it.

1. When someone write to an alias of your account, that email arrives to your account Inbox showing the alias email address on the "To: " field, and you will be able to notice if the mail was sent to one of your aliases or to the main account address. (note that if you send emails from one of your aliases, the main account address is not exposed, so recipients won't be able to link the addresses)
2. Yes, you can manage the account aliases (including adding new ones and remove existing ones). You need to access the user panel to do so, https://account.riseup.net
