Hi,

We really need more information to know what is producing the error. Are you using an e-mail client or webmail? Can we log your e-mail activity (time, recipient) so we can check possible errors on the delivery?

We haven't notice any issues with e-mail delivery on the last couple of weeks, but we need to find out why is this happening.

According to our logs, free.fr accepted our e-mail. Can you ask the person to check the spam folder ?

Hey again,

Sorry, this stupid system doesn't help to other birds to reply tickets not assigned to them and it gets messy and slow because of the time we can put into resolving problems.

As the log says, the mail was received by free.fr, their server told us that. The regular e-mail process is that you send an e-mail from your client, goes to our mail servers and contact the recipient one (free.fr in this case). If there is a problem, the free.fr mail will reply, hey there is this problem ("there is no such user", "the user is currently disabled", "hey we think your e-mail is spam")... and then our mail server tries again for some days in specific errors.

In this case free.fr got your e-mail, but we have 0 idea on why they are not storing it into your mailbox. You will need to contact them directly about this problem as there were no errors on the delivery process in our side or in transit.

Yes, nothing to do. If you prefer to put the pressure on a volunteer run project instead of the people that are the ones that are not delivering your messages you really should stay away from riseup.net as we don't have the resources to deal with issues we cannot resolve because it's another's provider actions.

You can close your account at https://account.riseup.net if you are not using it anymore and there is a list of similar projects that could not have the same problems with free.fr https://riseup.net/en/security/resources/radical-servers

Then this simplifies things a lot.

Please send an e-mail to cyanolycaarmillata@gmail.com (which is the account I use to test possible problems with delivery at gmail.com). When you do that I will have the e-mail ID which should be the only needed info to know what is happening. If i don't get the e-mail I will talk directly the problem with google.

After that, please write a different e-mail to cyanolycaarmillata@yahoo.com, to do the same thing.

We have to always be checking the current delivery status with the big providers, there seems to be no problems with our communications with them, but if there is a problem with your account we will find out directly.

Hi,

I got both mails correctly. I will put them on the bottom. This is the auth information, which if broken can lead to getting mails delivered to Spam folder. All data seems correct.

ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mx.google.com;
dkim=pass header.i=@riseup.net header.s=squak header.b=V5+GhfJt;
spf=pass (google.com: domain of lemome@riseup.net designates 198.252.153.129 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=lemome@riseup.net;
dmarc=pass (p=NONE sp=REJECT dis=NONE) header.from=riseup.net

Authentication-Results: mta1010.mail.ne1.yahoo.com from=riseup.net; domainkeys=neutral (no sig); from=riseup.net; dkim=pass (ok)

Logs also are ok

It's the same thing as the free.fr log, it got accepted. But I can see the mails without any problem. I still think that it's free.fr doing something weird on the delivery on their side, as if it was really a problem with gmail/yahoo/etc we will be having tons of tickets about this (once a year aol does block us because a spammer targeted their users, which is why the registration of new account is for friends only today).

There is a 3rd option, that is the content of your e-mail the servers believe it's a virus or similar and discard it right away instead of notifiying us. This should not be the case on gmail or yahoo, they do reject and let us know about it, but it can be the case for free.fr.

I don't know how can we go forward from this.... can you do tests with gmail/yahoo accounts and your friends? Specially if the e-mail went to some spam folder, the headers of those e-mails will let us know what is happening. For free.fr we don't speak french to try to ask them why this problem is happening, as we are not doing it :/ Can you please ask their support team about this? You can paste the e-mail logs i wrote before (07/31).
