I have a big problem with your new method, I did not realize it until today, so I did not generate a recovery code. I really can't accept that all my emails will be destroyed if I chose the old method ( using the alternative email )to rest my password, I've a very important emails there ... please can you help me with this issue ?

You are not able to create a new account and/or turn on encryption without generating a recovery code. Please try to remember where you stored it (your account was made years ago but encryption was just available this year, so my guess is that you enabled it at some point).
Those are the only two methods to recover the e-mail. The system is designed to not let us play any role if a 3rd party wants to access your account. I'm sorry.
