When I try to log in, I get the error: "Could not understand your login attempt. Please first send your login and a SRP ephemeral value A and then send the client_auth in the same session (using cookies)" I have no idea what that means.
I also cannot connect anonymously.

The bitmask android release candidate has been released to the beta store!
To get it, just go to the play store, search for bitmask, and then scroll down tot he bottom. There is a Beta sign-up process there where you can click to join the beta program, which will then allow you to download the beta version from the Play Store.
Alternatively, you can download the .apk from https://dl.bitmask.net
